Brief Description
 An AC variable£­frequency motor drive rig123.net' target='_blank'>VFD control rig123.net' target='_blank'>drilling rig
“K” type front open, vertical self elevating mast without A-frame. Include totally seven sections, which interconnected by dual pins. The mast legs are fixed to the bottom layer of the substructure. The mast clearance is 43m, suitable for top drive installation.
Folded hexagon vertical self elevating substructure. Two small hydraulic winches installed in the upper layer of the substructure and slings are used to elevate the substructure to the working height. Drill floor height is 7.5m, clearance from ground to rotary beam is6.3m. (Box on box type substructure is option)
The drawworks is designed to be an integral with all parts on one skid, single shaft, and gear box drive. An AC variable frequency motor (600V, 1100kW) with high speed, wide frequency and high torque is used to drive the drawworks. The main drum is lebus grooved. The main brake is hydraulic disc brake; the auxiliary brake adopts the motor regenerating power consumption system with braking resistor sets. A 37kW VFD motor driven auto driller is installed at one end of the drawworks main drum shaft to realize the auto drilling and drawworks emergency operation.
The rotary table is driven by an independent chain box unit. A 600V, 600kW AC variable frequency motor is used to drive the unit to realize the rotary table stepless speed regulation within 0-240rpm.
The mud pump is driven by pulley and belt. An AC variable frequency motor is used to drive the unit to realize the mud pump stepless speed regulation within 0-120SPM.
The rig power system includes three CAT3512A, 1457KVA, 600V, 50Hz main diesel engine generator sets and one auxiliary generator set.
The VFD electrical control system consists of Power Control Unit (GEN Cubicle), Transmission Control Unit (VFD Cubicle), Driller's console, PLC System, Lighting control, Motor Control Center (MCC) etc..
