The easy-e®EW series of easy-eTM valves feature a large internal cavity with extended end connections and a variety of unbalanced and balanced spool designs available in sizes from NPS 4x2 to 12x8. These combinations provide good flow control in an economical, high volume valve body, ensuring that the valve outlet speed is within acceptable limits. These valves are suitable for a wide range of operating conditions, for example, to meet the needs of power plants that use super-large pipes to limit fluid flow rates. They also perform well in noise reduction applications; for example, high pressure gas pressure relief devices where the speed of sound is often generated at the exit of a conventional valve body.
