The rosemont 3051T transmitter incorporates sensors, electronics, and a single isolated diaphragm design to achieve calibration ranges from 0.3 psi to 10,000 psi for both surface and absolute pressure measurements. Working principle of model 3051T pressure transmitter: when working, the isolation diaphragm on the high and low pressure side and the filling liquid transfer the process pressure to the filling liquid, and then the filling liquid transfers the pressure to the sensing membrane in the sensor center. The sensing diaphragm of the 3051 pressure transmitter is a tensioning elastic element whose displacement varies with the pressure applied (for the 3051 gp pressure transmitter, atmospheric pressure is applied as if on the low pressure side of the sensing diaphragm). 3051AP absolute pressure transmitter, low pressure side always maintain a reference pressure. The maximum displacement of the sensing diaphragm is 0.004 in. (0.1 mm) and is proportional to the pressure. The capacitive plates on both sides detect the position of the sensing diaphragm. The capacitance difference between the sensing diaphragm and the capacitance plate is converted into the corresponding current, voltage or digital HART (high-speed addressable remote transmitter data highway) output signal.
